For Christmas Brady and I got a combined gift card for Barnes and Noble from my brother and sister-in-law. Lucky for me, and not so lucky for Brady, I love to buy books and read and Brady does not. So he didn't really get a gift from them except maybe that I got to buy books without him having to pay anything for it. I got some sweet books, I can't wait to read some of them. I got about half that I haven't read and half that I already have. So, that's pretty sweet. We went to IKEA yesterday so that we could buy more book shelves for my burgeoning collection. I put the shelves together today and they look great in our living room! We were going to get two other shelving units to hold our dvds, etc. but they had sold out of them just earlier that day. Luckily, they got more in that night and so we're going back tomorrow to buy them. They should be great.
Brady and I have both been sick with colds ever since we got back from Christmas break. It stinks! I was getting better but now I have regressed and am worse! Brady isn't worse, so hopefully he gets all the way better. Tomorrow, like I said, we are going back to IKEA and having breakfast with my friend Alaina and her boyfriend David. Then Brady and I are going to a fancy lunch and Market Street Grill in South Jordan. We have a gift card so we plan to go after we finish up at IKEA. Depending on how I'm feeling, I may wish that I just stayed home and slept, but we'll see. I get pretty much a 4 day weekend since Tuesdays I only have one class in the afternoon. I despise being sick!
